Description

Having some cake cravings? This healthy pound cake is a great option for breakfast or snack.

You can have some coffee to accompany.

Ingredients

3 eggs
1 teaspoon of coconut oil - 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
¼ cup of almond milk
1 cup of almond flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup of stevia
Lime zest

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375F.

In a bowl, whisk 3 egg whites until it forms a foam (save the egg yolk for later).

Start adding the almond flour, almond milk, protein powder, baking powder, stevia, coconut oil, egg yolks..mix all together until you have consistency in the mixture.

Add the lime zest and mix.

Pour the mixture in a baking pan and put it in the oven for about 30 minutes.

Insert a knife in the middle to see if it's ready after the 30minutes, if the knife comes out clean, that means it's ready.
