Description

Craving some Chinese but don’t want to eat all the greasy stuff? I got you, with this chicken sriracha chop suey.

Recipe for one portion.

Ingredients

4oz of chicken breast
1 cup of vegetables stir fry (broccoli, carrots, snow peas)
1 tablespoon of liquid aminos (soy sauce substitute)
1 tablespoon of Sriracha (½ tablespoon if you don’t like it too spicy)
1 teaspoon of stevia
Seasonings: Mrs Dash, Flavorgod, or if you don’t have those, use garlic, cumin, paprika, Italian seasoning
⅓ cup of water (room temperature) mixed with ½ teaspoon of oat flour
¼ cup of water when cooking

Directions

Cut the chicken into several pieces and season it with your favorite seasoning.

On a sprayed frying pan, throw the chicken and stir fry for 5 minutes on high

Then, add the veggies, stir, cover and let it cook for 5 more minutes

On a separate bowl, mix the liquid amino, Sriracha, and stevia

Then, add the sauce to the chicken and veggies and simmer

Meanwhile, mix the ⅓ cup of water with the oat flour and pour it immediately to the chicken

Stir until the sauce gets thick, then turn it off. Tip: you can accompany this with some brown rice or quinoa
